• The day before your cruise at 12 PM, Orakle monitors the weather forecasts. If the precipitation threshold is reached, you can cancel and receive a 100% refund.
• If you choose to go ahead with your cruise, we will compensate you 50% for your additional costs if the threshold is reached based on the actual weather conditions observed.
The precipitation threshold: it is a number of millimeters of precipitation. It depends on the month of your cruise:
- January: 1.4mm- February: 1.5mm- March: 1.4mm- April: 1.8mm- May: 2.2mm- June: 2.1mm- July: 1.5mm- August: 1.5mm- September: 1.8mm- October: 1.6mm- November: 1.6mm- December: 1.6mm
What does 2 mm of precipitation represent? This could mean light rain for about an hour or moderate rain for 30 minutes.
